Mike Shinn is the President and CEO of Shinn Mechanical, an industrial pipe fabrication and mechanical contracting company founded in Kent, Washington in 1994, serving commercial, industrial, and municipal projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. He is recognized for his unique ability to assess projects and find innovative solutions to complex issues, a skill evident in a major tunneling project he led, which was completed in a remarkable 10 weeks instead of the scheduled eight months by implementing a unique piping design using Milwaukee tools and Victaulic grooved couplings. Beyond his leadership at Shinn Mechanical, Shinn has held various leadership and committee roles within professional industry organizations, showcasing his commitment to the broader mechanical contracting field. Notably, Shinn Mechanical received the MCAA E. Robert Kent Award for Management Innovation, in part due to their in-house designed, custom articulating weld booms.
