Brian Statdfield started his career in the trades as a Local 23 Pipefitter, working his way up from apprentice to Foreman, and then to Project Manager. He’s spent 29 years with Helm, following the same career path as his father, uncle, and grandfather.  

Throughout his career, he’s worked on a wide range of projects, including schools, wastewater treatment plants, water treatment plants, and healthcare facilities. More recently, he’s specialized in Aquatics and Waterparks, overseeing the construction of projects such as park district pools, country clubs, YMCA facilities, university competition pools, and large private sector resorts and waterparks. 

One notable project was Helm’s involvement in the US Olympic Time Trials in Omaha, NE. The team was tasked with building a temporary pool for the event in just 14 days and then tearing it down within the same timeframe.
