Douglas graduated from Boston University in 2013 with a degree in Finance & Operations Management. He began his career at Traveler Insurance underwriting commercial construction companies across the Pacific Northwest. In 2019, he joined Arden Engineering as a Project Manager. Since joining, he has had the opportunity to run work mainly in the Northeast including Covid Emergency Hospitals, a semi-conductor Facility, a laboratory for a new Diabetes drug, and a middle school.
At Arden, Douglas is involved with organizing their internship, new hire, and Arden Building Company Academy programs. Additionally, he is the chair of the Local 51 Health & Welfare fund and involved in their NEMCA local chapter on the ever-important golf committee.
Within MCAA, Douglas is involved with the Career Development Committee. He’s gone to MCAA conferences with his parents ever since he could walk since both his grandfather and father were involved with MCAA nationally. The involvement with MCAA has led to the successful growth of Arden along with project opportunities in their territories with other MCAA contractors.
