Kristy Willis is an Associate Professor in Residence in the Civil Engineering and Construction Department at Bradley University. Kristy has over 20 years of combined teaching experience at Bradley, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and Missouri S&T. Kristy has her Bachelor of Science in Construction from Bradley University and her Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla. Kristy brings a unique set of skills to the world of academia with the field experience she gained as facilities engineer with Caterpillar along with her time serving with the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
Kristy currently serves as the faculty advisor for Bradley University’s MCAA chapter, along with serving on the steering committee for the Women in Mechanical Industry (WiMI) Initiative. Kristy previously served on the John R. Gentille Foundation Board of Trustees as the academic representative. Kristy has been actively involved in MCAA since 2008, where she attended her first convention in San Francisco. Kristy’s professional interests include productivity method improvement, leadership development, and workforce diversity. Her personal interests include horseback riding, fishing, and anything outdoors!
