Chris Wilson is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (2013) and Ohio State University with a Master of Science in Welding Engineering (2024). He began his career in the welding industry in 2013 as a Mechanical Engineer in the Mechanical Development Group at DuPont’s Washington Works site in Parkersburg, WV. In this position, he was responsible for inspections of in-service equipment, specification of code-compliant weld repairs, and qualification of procedures and welders for the on-site pipe fabrication shop. He joined The Lincoln Electric Company in 2017 and currently holds a position as a Welding Engineer in their Application Engineering Department. In this position, he represents The Lincoln Electric Company as ‘The Welding Experts’ by contributing technical knowledge to customers in the welding industry and assists customers in performing efficient qualifications to ASME Codes.
Chris is a member of the American Welding Society (AWS) and a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI # 14050013). He is also a member of the following ASME Code committees:
