Ted’s education and background include a BS in Aerospace Technologies from Utah State University – College of Engineering, and 38 years in semiconductor, biopharmaceutical, medical gas, HVAC, aerospace, and research process systems and fabrication. Ted is a dedicated 28-year owner and founder of Critical Systems, Inc. 

Starting his career in Silicon Valley during the 1980’s, this emerging area of technology placed him and other professionals at the epicenter of the personal computer revolution, fostering a meritocratic, high-speed work culture, and providing foundational networking opportunities during a period of massive industry scaling. 

In 1998, Mr. Jones made an entrepreneurial leap and founded, Critical Systems, Inc. CSI has grown and evolved into a product leader in orbital welding services and equipment manufacturing, gas systems and abatement equipment manufacturing for semiconductor applications, and is a leader in contract manufacturing of process systems that require design, build, and control logic. 

Ted is a husband of 32 years and a proud father of two children. He has a passion for development of technological advancements and considers himself a, “welding nerd,” as he loves products that advance efficiency and make the work people do each day more productive and enjoyable.
