Ben Bradshaw is a proud card-carrying pipefitter with the United Association. He currently serves as business manager for UA Local 100 in Dallas, as well as co-chair of the UA Pipe PALS Committee. Ben spearheaded the development of a peer ally program at his local union focused on mental health and addiction.
His passion for these issues was born out of his own personal struggles, as well as a deep-seated desire to help members of his organization who are facing challenges of their own. One of his stated goals is to help tear down the once seemingly insurmountable walls of stigma surrounding conversations about mental health and addiction in the construction industry.
