Sheri Learmonth is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Marina Mechanical Services, Inc. She is responsible for the corporate strategy, operations and financial oversight of the organization. She returned to Marina in September of 2018 as Chief Financial Officer and assumed her current role in May 2019 after navigating the completion of the former owner’s succession plan of an ESOP transaction. A licensed mechanical contractor, she is a construction industry veteran, with deep experience in finance and operations, having spent 33 years in leadership roles at construction companies of various trades.
In addition to driving the overall business and supporting the Marina team, she is passionate about promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in the trades. In June 2021 Sheri received an appointment from the Governor to the California Apprenticeship Council where she currently serves as the Equal Opportunity in Apprenticeship Chair. Other volunteer positions include serving on the board of a local Women in Construction group and chairing her local WiMI committee.
